Killing Bees?

I have a practical problem. Outside of my home, just out the door,
under and all around a lamp that is situated on the wall on the top of
the door, there is a nest of wasps, hundreds of them. My question is,
what should I do? That nest is growing bigger every day. My son is
afraid to go outside. At the same time, I don't want to be the responsible
of killing hundreds. According to sastra, how I should act?
