Tea for Flu and Colds
Steeped tea of ginger (preferrably fresh) and cayenne, with fresh lemon and
honey. Drink as much as possible, at least 4 glasses during the day. It
should be potent enough to make you break out into a sweat. Make it to
taste, but push the envelope as the more cayenne and ginger you can take
the better. If you happen to make it too strong, it can be diluted with
water.
Ginger may alter bleeding time and should not be used concomitantly with
warfarin sodium, and should be discontinued prior to any surgeries.
