Swami Prabhupad, commemorates the vaishnava's festival Nrsimha Caturdasi
"The Appearance of Lord Nrsimhadev", who has an extraordinary form of
half-lion and half man and is incarnation of Lord Krishna, with great
enthusiasm and devotions. The festival starts at 6 PM with Abhishek and
continued till 9 PM. Kids of ISKCON played drama showing the pastime of Lord
Nrsimhadev.The hall of the temple was fully packed with the congregational
devotees which includes every section of society. His grace Rajsuya das,
Temple President, in his lecture said that He appeared to save the great
saint Prahlad Maharaj from his demonic
father Hiranyakasipu and also spoke
on the teachings of Prahlad Maharaj. Among other who was present in the
festival were HG Narhari das, HG Balabhadra das.Very melodious Hari naam
sankirtan was recited by HG Narhari das and other devotees of the temple. On
this auspicious day devotees observed fasting till evening. Devotees were
seen dancing with Hare Krsna Mahamantra. Devotees offered Chhapan Bhoga to
Lord Nrsimhadev. Later dinner prashadam was distributed.
