Thank you for including the article from the Albany Times Union, "Hawaii Won't Prosecute Alleged Philippines Murderer". What that article doesn't tell your readers is that Eric Mausert, the person who was the victim of that crime, was Sriman Aksobhya das. Aksobhya prabhu was a disciple of Srila Prabhupada and was initiated in 1971. He, among with Srikanta prabhu, designed the system of indexing for the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust circa 1974.
Aksobhya left his body saving the life of a bhakta who was being
attacked by a man with a knife. If you want a more complete story, the Metroland published one some months
ago. If you Google Eric Mausert, you will find it.
